RAW VIDEO: Caught on tape, Pit Bulls kills Deaf lady's Chihuahua.

EL SERENO, LOS ANGELES - A Deaf woman and her dog were attacked by a neighbour's American Pit Bull Terrier in El Sereno Saturday morning. The woman's dog, a Chihuahua named Muffy, had to be put down.

From what it looks like on the CCTV, it was all the Deaf ladys fault right Pit Bull supporters??! "They've attacked the mail man, they've attacked dog, they've attacked other people that are walking their dogs, as well as people that were just walking," said Rene Uribe, a neighbour.

This is why you should never get a pit bull as a pet! In the USA last year, pit bulls killed a massive 22 out of the 31 people killed in dog attacks! Rotties were next on 4!! complete angels compared to pit bulls!
VIRAL VIDEO: Helen Keller sunglasses commercial video under fire for misleading and copyrights.

A Chinese company has grabbed international headlines by naming a line of sunglasses after Deaf-Blind activist Helen Keller.

Is it a smart thing to try and profit off of someone else’s tragedy? One company seems to think so. A Chinese fashion firm, Xiamen Jinzhi, has named a line of its sunglasses Helen Keller.

This is no marketing mistake, or lost in translation. A spokesman for the company, Chen Wenjing, told the Wall Street Journal, they were well aware Keller was blind, but saw merchandising value in her “philanthropist spirit.”

It appears Helen Keller is a famous figure Chinese children learn about in school, according to the article. But maybe the fashion company’s marketing team didn’t pay attention when the course was taught.

On the company’s Helen Keller sunglasses website, someone seems to have picked up a reference about Helen Keller from Wikipedia, “Helen Keller: She was the first Deaf-Blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.” Read more: http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/24/11370286-helen-keller-sunglasses-create-a-stir

Timing is improved, but the stats are still a bit mixed. They are accurate, averages from the last 20 years (where possible). This was produced in After Effects, the globe is own creation having sourced the original flat map from NASAs image library.

The slightly lame cloud effect is simple fractal noise on a background layer, with feathered masking to contain it. Also 3D'd the text boxes.

VIRAL VIDEO: Deaf community met president Barack Obama and saying "Thank you" in American Sign Language.

WASHINGTON - Deaf community stood just a few feet away from Barack Obama. The president, busy shaking hands, looked right at them. “It was like he was waiting for us to say something,” Stephon said later. So the 26-year-old Prince George’s Community College student took his cue and spoke to President Obama in his first language: American Sign Language. “I am proud of you,” Stephon signed. The president, almost involuntary, instinctively, immediately signed back. “Thank you,” Obama replied. This is one of those moments that humanize the office of the presidency.

Stephon born DEAF, and justifiably proud, Stephon told us later he had no idea he’d be seated in the VIP section so close to the president and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley at the March 15th event. But what a difference a seating assignment can make. “When I shook his hand it did not feel like he was superior to me,” Stephon said. “He was just a humble man.”...
